As newcomers, we are exclusively committed to our unconditional quality standards.
We create wine of the highest quality, in the region of Carnuntum.
In collaboration with young visual artists, we make a piece of art, in terms of the taste and bottle appearance.
Winegut Kellerkünstler was awarded the ‘Discovery of the Year 2024 Austria’ by Gault Millaut.
Terroir
Carnuntum, Austria
The Pannonian climate with its hot summers and cold winters, together with the nearby river Danube and the temperature-regulating Lake Neusiedl, helps to create a harmonious microclimate that enables grapes to reach full ripeness.
Michael and Marcus are organically cultivating 10 acres of vineyards with mainly Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch.
They are uncompromisingly focused on the highest quality standards and are creating ‘slow-wines’, where they give their wines the time in the cellar they need.
As a result they create very well balanced and strong character wines.
Their production is about 9,000 bottles per year.
