Spätburgunder 'Wallhausen' 2021 - Weingut Bicking & Bicking

This Wallhausen Pinot Noir comes from the Pastorenberg vineyard. The slate in the subsoil gives the Pinot Noir depth and fine fruit! The wine is aged on the yeast for 18 months in 1-4 full barriques. It is lightly sulphurized and bottled unfiltered.

Spicy scent of fresh sour cherries, pickled violets and roasted almonds! A light wood spice and some forest floor round off the aroma. On the palate, a lively acidity is presented in combination with an elegant texture and a fine finish! The forest floor becomes more intense and the present sour cherry remains!
